Sparkling prong set round & navette crystal rhinestones w/ pave rhinestone accents brooch approx 2.25 x 1.75 Rhodium plated silver-tone metal Quality was foremost in the making of Eisenberg costume jewelry; the best plating and metals & the finest Austrian crystal rhinestones went into each piece.

In addition, this high end costume jewelry line was very expensive (a brooch in the 1940s would cost then approximately as much as the average worker made in one week) so most pieces were well taken care of. Consequently the metal and the stones of Eisenberg pieces are in excellent vintage condition. Recently Eisenberge vintage has gained in popularity... And there appears to be an abundance of it available, but lots of the pieces in circulation are imitation.

These are the real thing! The manner in which the piece is stamped (or lack of a stamp) indicates the time period in which it was manufactured.
